Inspired by Nature & My Garden Flowers: Paintings on Old Windows

In 2021 I found an old window out at the street for trash and I felt the need to rescue it and paint orange poppies on it for sale at my next art festival. It was a hit!! And so began my journey of painting on old window panes. Next a dear friend offered me the 12 old windows she was having replaced with new ones. I said yes please and created so many beautiful inspired paintings of hollyhocks, sunflowers, iris, zinnias, hydrangea, roses. Then came birds, butterflies, horses, cats, foxes, cows...all the images that bring me joy and also to many others. The impressionistic and stained glass affect is just beautiful!! Have had a wonderful enthusiastic response to these unique rustic colorful works of art that combine history of a window with a lively painting.
